Marcliffe Hotel Aberdeen, Aberdeen

My experience at the hotel was a mixed bag. While the property has beautiful grounds and luxurious décor, the service left much to be desired, especially when it came to dietary needs. I found the dining options to be quite limited, which was disappointing given the hotel’s upscale reputation. However, the cozy atmosphere and attention to cleanliness made it a pleasant enough visit overall.

I had an incredible weekend celebrating my husband's 60th birthday at the Marcliffe. From the moment we arrived, the staff made us feel incredibly welcomed and attended to all our needs perfectly. The dining experience was a highlight with both dinner and breakfast showcasing exceptional quality. The only small drawback was the dining space was busy due to a larger wedding event happening that weekend, but it didn’t affect our enjoyment. Overall, it was a fabulous experience, and I can't wait to return.

The attention to detail from the staff was exceptional, though my friend's experience highlighted some inconsistency in service. Overall, I loved the elegant dining and plush accommodations.
